Jen's Training Log / March 12
I'm telling you, this whole daily check-in is soooooo motivating -- even more than the tri itself!
Today, after I dropped the boys off at school, I ran a nice, slow two miles (we're talking 10-plus minute miles) and walked one mile.
It feels so good to have my work-out out of the way already. Of course, now I have no excuse but to get to work on my MFA stuff. Here I go...

Are you following a plan for your training at this point, Jen? I mean, the guide that Wendy sent is great and comprehensive, but I feel a little overwhelmed. Should I focus on just getting in better shape first, or should I start training all three sports? What are you doing?
Hey! I'm just working on getting in better shape right now. I'd love to build up to comfortably running 3 miles and swimming 8 laps before the program officially starts...
I'm not looking at the program 'til then. :)
I'll start biking when it gets nice enough outside to do so... There's time for that! Or at least that's what I'm counting on!
