BERGEN WINS POSTER AWARD

Today Bergen received an award from Rochester Mayor Ardell Brede for his Arbor Day Celebration poster entry. Bergen was picked 1st place from all first graders within the district. The school bussed Bergens class to downtown for the celebration... included free hotdogs, chips, pop, and baby trees. His classmates chanted BERGEN! BERGEN! BERGEN!. I was very proud. His artwork will be in the 2010 RPU calendar.
