MEA weekend 2010

It could have been the shortest long weekend in history. Lots of friends and family. Crock pots, wood heat, cards, 4 wheeling, football, hammocks, and campfires to name a few highlights. - Jay

Lake Zumbro 10/9/10

Bergen and I got on some post flood water this weekend. We actually found buoys 15 feet high in the shoreline trees. With a slip bobber and crawlers we were able to get enough in the boat for dinner - big bluegills and a nice catfish (are my arms really that hairy?). We managed to elude the large amount of logs floating about and hope to get to Red Wing for walleyes next weekend. Wish us luck.
