I love it when the planets align. Christian, Bergen and I took Saturday to go fishing. This was after a morning walk at the farmers market. 8 smallmouth and 10 sunnies later - we raced home so I can finally have my 14th year wedding anniversary dinner with Jen. - Rock on.

Christian's First 5K!

Christian was a ROCK STAR at the Stay out of the Sun Run tonight. He even finished more than a minute ahead of his mom. I think it's safe to say he's hooked. A few minutes after he crossed the finish line, he asked, "When can I do another one?"

We are so proud of him. WAY TO GO, CHRISTIAN!!

Our annual Koski/Winkler WI Dells reunion took place last weekend. We had a blast - as always.

New blog!

Hi friends,

We've been horrible, I know, at keeping this blog up. We'd misplaced our camera (a fancy word for "lost," I know) -- but it's back and we're ready to go!

But before I share our Vegas pics (we were just in Sin City for Willy and Melina's wedding, which was fabulous!), I want to tell you about a new blog I'm launching. It's called Writing Jenny -- and it will be a forum for my writing. As I get closer to finishing my MFA (one more semester to go!!), it's time for me to work on presenting and marketing my writing -- and a blog is one way to do that.

I hope you'll consider dropping by and reading some of my work. I'll post columns, of course, but I'll also post other essays I'm working on. You can find it at:
